Full builds with normal access. Steep drives, hand-dig-only access, rock, and drives over 100 square metres are priced at the measure; small jobs under 20 square metres carry a minimum charge because the digger and the skip cost the same.

Ten years in writing
Sinking, rutting, cracking and loose edges, insurance-backed, on the invoice. Transfers to the next owner.
Base photographed
You get a photograph of the compacted sub-base before it is covered. The cheaper quote usually cannot send you one.
Paid in two stages
Nothing up front. Half when the sub-base is in and photographed, the balance when the drive is finished and swept.
