Up the corridor, on the left.

Sign in at the desk of the leisure centre, and follow the sound of shuttles and mild swearing. Free car park, level access, and showers that have seen better days.

Getting here, access and hours

The hall

Sir Thomas Picton Leisure Centre, Haverfordwest, SA61 2NX. Come in at the main doors and sign in at the desk. The main hall is up the corridor on the left, and the side hall is beyond it.

Parking

There is a free car park at the leisure centre, which fills up on a Wednesday around seven, when the swimming lessons finish. There is usually room by the time we start.

By bus and train

Haverfordwest bus station and railway station are each about fifteen minutes’ walk away. Fishguard and Milford people usually share lifts. Ask, and we will put you in touch.

What to bring

Non-marking indoor shoes, a water bottle and clothes that you can move in. We can lend a racket. There are lockers, and showers that have seen better days.

Access

The centre has level access, a lift and accessible changing rooms. The courts are on the ground floor. Ring Alun if you use a chair and would like to play: there is a good para-badminton format, and we would like to try it.

When we are not there

Sessions stop for two weeks at Christmas and for the summer tournament week in August. Term-time sessions follow the Pembrokeshire school calendar.

If you are coming from Fishguard, Milford or Pembroke, ask about a lift. Half the club shares one already.

Your first night is free.

Bring flat indoor shoes. We lend the racket, and Alun puts your name on the board.
