£1,250: six hours with one of us, from the ceremony to the speeches

The half day

Six hours with one of us, starting at the ceremony and finishing after the speeches or the cake: the walk in, the vows, the confetti, the drinks, the portraits, the room and the toasts. For smaller weddings, registry offices, second weddings, and couples who want the day photographed properly without the morning and the dancing.

Guests laughing around a long rustic table in a barn during speeches with a man standing with a glass raised

Not every wedding needs ten hours. A registry office at two and a meal at four, a small barn wedding with forty people, a second wedding with grown-up children: six hours from the ceremony covers the whole of what matters and costs seven hundred pounds less, and you can add an hour on the day if the speeches run long.

We arrive half an hour before the ceremony for the room, the guests arriving and the nerves, and photograph the ceremony from the back and the side. Confetti, the drinks reception, the group photographs if you want them, twenty minutes of portraits at a good time, the room before people sit down, the meal's edges and the speeches: six hours covers all of it for most weddings that start at one or two. If you want the cake or the first dance, an extra hour on the day is £150 and you decide then.

The gallery is three hundred or more edited images within three weeks, with a highlights set in a week, online for two years with full-size downloads and print rights. Everything else is the same as the full day: the same documentary approach, the same editing, the same person you met on the call. The half day is also what we recommend for a wedding abroad where you want the ceremony and the party covered by someone you know; travel is quoted.

Questions about half day

Can we start in the morning instead?

Yes: six hours from getting ready to the drinks reception works for a late ceremony. Tell us what matters most and we will place the hours.

Is it a lesser package?

It is a shorter one. The approach, the editing and the gallery are the same; there are simply fewer hours in it, which for a shorter day is exactly right.

Check your date, then tell us about the day.

The availability page says which dates are already taken. If yours is free, the form takes two minutes, we reply within the working day, and a video call that week with a £400 deposit holds it. If it is gone, we will say so and suggest two photographers we would book ourselves.
