The best flat white in the Vale and I have tried them all. Oat milk with no surcharge, the recipe on the board, and a cardamom bun I would drive for. The window seat with the roaster going on a Tuesday is my favourite place in town.

Bought a bag of the Rwandan after the Saturday cupping, followed the recipe on the back, and made the best coffee I have ever made at home. The roast date on the bag is the thing; everything else in the supermarket is months old.
We have taken Groundwork for four years. Weekly delivery in their van, a calibration visit every quarter, and they trained two of our staff for nothing when we opened. The price is on their website, which tells you everything about how they do business.
Home espresso course with Owen. Took my machine in, found out my grinder was the problem not the machine, and have had proper shots at home since. £65 that saved me buying a new machine I did not need.
Lovely coffee and the beans are excellent. Four stars because the buns were gone by half twelve on a Saturday and I had come for one. They did say they usually run out by one. Come earlier, apparently.
Watched the whole roast from the pavement with the kids on a Tuesday and Ffion came out to show them the beans. Then brunch, then a bag to take home. The kind of place a town is lucky to have.
About the four stars
The buns run out. We could make more, and they would not be as good.
Megan is right that there were none left at half twelve on a Saturday. Dafydd makes sixty a morning by hand before we open and they are gone when they are gone; a second batch would mean a bun baked at eleven and sold at three, and we tried that once. The honest fix is on the menu page: come before one. We put the day's count on the board and on Instagram at eight.

Come for a coffee, come back for the beans, and tell the next person what it was like. Good or bad, it stays up.
