Spray timing
When to book your spray.
A day or two before, depending on the shade and what day it falls on. Give us the date of your event, and we will give you the rest.

Your event
Example: a medium shade, sixteen days from today
- Fri 20 NovExfoliate, wax or shaveAt least 24 hours before your spray.
- Sat 21 NovCome in for your sprayIn the evening is best, so that you can sleep in the guide colour.
- Sun 22 NovYour eventAfter a first lukewarm shower, patted dry.
- 27 Nov – 29 NovStarts to fadeA medium shade lasts about 6 to 8 days. Moisturise twice a day.
A spray tan gives no protection from the sun. If your event is abroad, or outdoors, wear sunscreen.
About the timing
Why not the morning of the event?
The guide colour needs eight hours, and you then have your first shower. It rinses away some of the colour, and what is left is the tan you will have.
Why does dark get two days?
A darker shade looks its best after one more day to settle, and it lasts longer, so it can afford to go earlier. Light shades start fading sooner, so they go nearer the day.
What about waxing and nails?
Wax or shave at least 24 hours before your spray, and get your manicure before, not after. Then hair and make-up last of all.
Not sure which? Four questions, ten seconds.
The skin check tells you honestly whether a sunbed is right for your skin. A spray always is, and it has no UV in it at all.
