What to put on before and after
Skincare for your tan
A short shelf: exfoliator for the day before, a light moisturiser for after, sunscreen, and nothing that promises more than it can do.

The commonest reason for a patchy tan is dry skin, and the commonest reason for a fading tan is scrubbing it off in the shower.
Before a spray: an exfoliating mitt or an oil-free scrub the day before, and no oil, moisturiser or deodorant on the day. Oil is a barrier, and it is the reason a tan goes streaky around the knees and elbows.
After a spray: keep it moisturised morning and night, ideally with something free of oil and alcohol. That is what makes a tan last for the full week. Our moisturiser is plain, and works for that purpose, and any similar one from the chemist will do.
We also sell SPF 30, and we would like you to use it. A spray tan is not protection from the sun. Nor is a UV tan worth much: a tan from a sunbed gives you only about SPF 2 or 3.

Questions about skincare
Can I use my own moisturiser?
Yes, as long as it does not contain oil, and it does not need to come from us.
How do I get an old tan off?
A warm bath for twenty minutes, then a mitt. Do this at least the day before a new spray.
Not sure which? Four questions, ten seconds.
The skin check tells you honestly whether a sunbed is right for your skin. A spray always is, and it has no UV in it at all.
