Eleven acres of meadow and oak wood, four fire pits, a shower block with hot water, a barn with a kettle, and the Wye at the bottom boundary
The site: fire pits, showers and the river
Eleven acres running from the lane down to the river: a meadow cut in paths with the four pods at its edges, an oak wood with the treehouse in it, a timber shower block with three hot showers and two loos, a barn with a kettle, a fridge, games and a drying rack, four fire pits with the first basket of wood free, and two hundred metres of the Wye with a shingle beach. No shop, no bar, no play area; the field is the play area.

The site is a field that happens to have four beds in it, and we have tried to keep it that way. The meadow is cut in paths rather than mown flat, so there are orchids in June and grasshoppers in August, and the four pods sit at its edges facing different ways so each one has its own view and none has a view of the others.
The shower block is a timber building in the middle of the field with three hot showers (gas, on demand, no tokens), two flushing loos, a washing-up sink with hot water, and a shelf of the things people forget. The barn next to it has a kettle, a fridge with a shelf per pod, a toaster, board games, a bookshelf, a drying rack for the day it rains, and the honesty box for wood, kindling, marshmallows and the eggs from the hens. There is no shop, no bar and no reception; the farmhouse at the top of the track is where we live and where you knock.
The fire pits are steel bowls on a stone base at each pod with a grill that swings over them, so supper can be cooked on them; the first basket of seasoned ash is in the price and the honesty box has the rest. Fires are allowed in the pits and nowhere else, and go out by midnight; it is a meadow. The river is the bottom boundary: two hundred metres of the Wye with a shingle beach where it is shallow enough to paddle, deep pools further down for the brave, a rope swing, and the canoes delivered to it. The river is a river, with a current after rain; children in it with an adult, and the depth board by the beach says whether today is a paddling day.

Questions about the site
Is there phone signal and wi-fi?
Signal on one network at the top of the meadow and none at the river, which guests tend to come to like. Wi-fi in the barn for the people who need to check in with work once a day.
Can we have a fire?
In your fire pit, yes, every night, with the wood we sell or bring; not on the grass and not on the beach. Fires out by midnight; a bucket is by every pit.
Pick the pod, pick the nights, and see every one of them priced.
The availability page shows every night of the season for every pod, taken or free, and quotes a stay with the price for each night. Then one form books it; Elin replies within two hours, 8am to 8pm, and a deposit of a night holds it.
