All four pods, the barn, the meadow and the beach for up to fourteen, two nights from £1,450, for a family week, a birthday or a small wedding
Hire the whole site
The whole eleven acres for your own party: all four pods (sleeping fourteen), the barn as your kitchen and your wet room, the meadow for a marquee or a long table, the beach for the canoes and the fires lit at all four pits. Two nights from £1,450 in low season and £1,950 in high, each extra night £650, for a family gathering, a fortieth, a hen weekend that wants to sit by a fire rather than a bar, or a wedding of twenty with the ceremony in the wood.

About a dozen times a year the whole field goes to one party: a family that has grown too big for one cottage, a fortieth, a hen weekend that wants the river rather than a city, and three or four small weddings with the ceremony under the big oak and the breakfast at a long table on the meadow. It is the same site; you just do not share it.
What you get: all four pods, so fourteen beds (sixteen with the cabin sofa bed) across the tent, the hut, the treehouse and the cabin; the barn as your kitchen, with the big fridge, the cooker we wheel in, the urn and the drying rack; the meadow with the posts for festoon lights and room for a marquee from the hire company in Monmouth if you want cover; all four fire pits lit and stocked for the first night; the beach and the canoes at the usual price; and the farmhouse at the top of the track with us in it if anything goes wrong. Two nights minimum; £1,450 in low season and £1,950 in high, with each extra night £650, including the dogs.
Weddings: the wood is licensed for a ceremony of up to thirty under the big oak, £350 for the licence and the chairs, with the registrar from Monmouth, and the breakfast at a long table on the meadow (ours, for twenty, £120) or in a marquee for more. We do not cater; Elin can do the breakfast hampers for everyone and the welcome hamper for every pod, and three caterers in Monmouth know the field and the fire pits. Music until eleven, fires until midnight, the stars after that. A £400 deposit holds the dates; the balance a month before; the farmer next door is told, which is why there is no complaint.

Questions about the whole site
Can we bring more people for the day?
For a wedding or a party, up to thirty on the site in the day and fourteen sleeping; the rest in Monmouth, four miles, where there are hotels and the minibus we book. The lane and the parking are the limit, not us.
Can we bring our own food and drink?
Yes to all of it: the barn is yours, the fire pits have grills, and a caterer who knows the field is on the list. No corkage, no service charge, no bar; bring what you like and take the bottles home.
Pick the pod, pick the nights, and see every one of them priced.
The availability page shows every night of the season for every pod, taken or free, and quotes a stay with the price for each night. Then one form books it; Elin replies within two hours, 8am to 8pm, and a deposit of a night holds it.
