From £60, for any room on any day, valid for a year, posted in a box with a key
Gift vouchers
A voucher for a game for two, four or six, any room, any day, valid for twelve months, posted in a small black box with a brass key and a sealed envelope, or emailed the same day. The person who gets it books their own slot on the website with the code.
A voucher is a game, not an amount: you buy a game for two, four or six people and the person who gets it chooses the room and the day. It is valid for a year, it does not lose value if our prices go up, and if the team turns out bigger or smaller they pay or are refunded the difference at the door.
The posted voucher comes in a small black box tied with a green ribbon, with an old brass key and a sealed envelope inside; the envelope has the code and a riddle, and the riddle is a clue in the Night Safe for anyone who remembers it. The emailed voucher is a PDF that arrives within the minute, which is what most people buy on Christmas Eve.
To book with a voucher, choose a slot on the booking page and put the code in the message. If the voucher is about to expire and you cannot find a date, ring us; we have never turned anyone away for being a week late.

Questions about gift vouchers
Can I buy an amount instead of a game?
Yes, any amount from £20, if you would rather; it is spent like money at the door.
What if it expires?
Ring us. A few weeks late is fine; a year late we will still honour what you paid.
Sixty minutes. Pick a slot.
The rooms page shows every free slot today and tomorrow, room by room; the booking page works out the price for your group. We confirm by email within the hour, and anything starting in the next hour is a phone call.
