Sundays at two
League team
Our first team plays eleven-a-side in the valleys women's league, Sundays at two. Thursday training, a real fixture list and a very vocal bench.

The league team plays in the valleys women's league on Sunday afternoons from September to April, home at Cae Dderwen and away up and down the valleys. The squad runs from twenty to fifty-one years old. All of them train on Thursdays.
If you played recently and want a game, come on a Thursday and talk to Jade. You do not need a trial as such, just a couple of sessions to see where you fit. We try to give everybody real minutes, and we do not leave anybody on the bench for a whole game.
Fixtures and scores are on the fixtures page. We lose about as often as we win, and we finish every game in the clubhouse either way. Lifts are arranged on the team group, and match fees do not exist here.

Questions about league team
What standard is it?
Friendly, competitive grassroots. Most of us have jobs and children and knees.
Do I need to come every week?
No, just say by Thursday night whether you can make Sunday.
Turn up on Tuesday. That is genuinely the whole plan.
Seven o'clock at Cae Dderwen, in whatever you have got. Your first month costs nothing. Bethan will find you at the gate, and nobody will ask you what position you played in 2004.
