Down by the river.

Cae Dderwen, at the bottom of Ton Pentre. Someone is at the gate from ten to seven every Tuesday.

Getting here

Lifts go up and down the valley, so just ask on the group.

Cae Dderwen

Down by the river at the bottom of Ton Pentre. Look for the railings and the small brick changing rooms; the gate is on the road side.

By train

Ton Pentre station is on the Treherbert line, about ten minutes' walk. Trains run later than you would think, but check the last one back.

By car

There is room for about twenty cars by the railings, and more on the road. We share lifts from Treorchy, Ystrad and Tonypandy; ask on the group.

Where to go first

The gate on the road side. On a Tuesday, somebody is there from ten to seven. Walk in as if you own the place. Most of us started that way.

Changing rooms

Open, warm-ish and shared. There is no need to change there at all; most of us arrive in our kit under a big coat.

The hall in Pentre

Walking football and frosty Tuesdays are in the church hall on Llewellyn Street, five minutes up the road. We text you if we move.

Turn up on Tuesday. That is genuinely the whole plan.

Seven o'clock at Cae Dderwen, in whatever you have got. Your first month costs nothing. Bethan will find you at the gate, and nobody will ask you what position you played in 2004.
