What we collect, why, how long we keep it and how to ask us about it.

What we collect

When you use the form we collect your name, phone number, email address and postcode, what you are asking about, a date if you give one, and anything you write. The form also records the time it was sent and your IP address, used only to block automated submissions.

Members give a name, an emergency contact and any health information they choose to tell a coach. Health information is a special category, and we hold it with your explicit consent so we can look after you.

Why we use it

  • To answer you and to arrange sessions (our legitimate interest in running the club).
  • To register league players, which the league requires (our contract with you).
  • To look after you if something goes wrong (consent, and your vital interests).
  • To keep the club's accounts (a legal obligation).

Children

The mums and kids sessions take a parent's name and contact only. Parents stay with their own children. We do not name children or publish close-up photographs of them on this site.

Photographs

Photographs of members appear only with their say-so, and we take one down within a week if you ask.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted after six months. Membership and health details are deleted a year after you stop coming. Accounts are kept for six years.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our using it or withdraw consent. Email hello@rhondda-rovers-ladies.co.uk. We answer within a month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website sets a session cookie only when you send the form, to limit repeat submissions. The come-and-try tool stores nothing. There are no analytics or advertising cookies. The map on the find-us page is loaded from Google, which may set its own cookies.
