Interim and full services on your drive or in the car park at work, to the manufacturer schedule

Servicing at home or work

Interim and full services done on your drive or in the car park at work, to the manufacturer schedule, with OE-quality parts and the digital service record stamped. Keys at eight, car back by lunch, and your warranty kept.

A service is mostly oil, filters and a good look underneath, and none of that needs a ramp. It needs the right oil for the engine, the right filter, a methodical checklist and someone who knows what a worn bush or a weeping shock looks like. We bring all of that to the car, wherever it is parked from eight in the morning.

An interim service is the oil and filter and thirty checks; it is for cars doing high mileage, or the half-way point between full services. A full service adds the air and pollen filters, spark plugs when the schedule says so, a brake fluid test and about seventy checks, from the wiper blades to the exhaust mounts. Either way we write up what we found, with photographs of anything that will need doing soon, and stamp the digital service record.

If the car is under the manufacturer's warranty, you do not have to go back to the dealer. Block exemption rules mean any competent independent can service it, as long as the schedule and the parts are right. We work from the manufacturer's schedule for your car, and we use parts from the brands that supply the factories.

At work, all we need is a parking space and permission from whoever runs the car park; we bring a mat, a drip tray and, if it is raining, an awning. Most people hand us the keys at reception and get them back with the paperwork before lunch.

What it costs

Interim service £65 labour plus about £28 to £52 of oil and filter; full service £110 labour plus £62 to £105 of parts, by size of car. Including VAT. The job pricer works it out for your size of car, and the area checker gives the call-out for your postcode.

Questions about servicing

Can you do it without me there?

Yes. Leave the keys with a neighbour, in a key safe or at reception, and pay by card over the phone or a link when we finish.

Do you do MOTs?

Not ourselves, because an MOT needs a testing station. We will take the car to one in Porth and bring it back for £35, and fix anything it fails on at our usual prices.

Book a slot. We bring the garage.

Pick a time, tell us the car and the job, and Dai or Ffion turns up with the van. Fixed labour, the parts at what they cost us plus our margin on the receipt, and twelve months on everything.
