Welsh-grown Nordmann, from the last week of November

Christmas trees

Welsh-grown Nordmann and Fraser firs, cut in the last week of November, freshly sawn at the base, netted and put in the car for you. Wreaths, stands and delivery too.

A Christmas tree yard at dusk, rows of cut Nordmann fir trees in wooden racks under strings of warm lights

Our trees come from a grower near Builth Wells, are cut in the last week of November and are in the yard within a day or two.

Nordmann firs hold their needles best, and most people buy one for that reason. Fraser firs smell better and have narrower shapes, which suit a bay window. All of them stand in the racks so you can see the shape before it is netted.

We take an inch off the base on the saw while you wait. Stand it in a bucket of water in a cool place if it is not going indoors yet, and water it every day when it is. A six-foot tree will drink about a litre a day for its first week.

You can reserve a tree on this site from October, which simply means we keep one of your size and type under your name. In the first week of January we collect trees from the same postcodes we delivered to, for £5, and they are chipped for bark.

Questions about christmas trees

Any time from the first weekend of December if you keep it watered. The best shapes in the most popular six-foot size go early, so reserve it if you are fussy.

Do you have potted trees?

Yes, small pot-grown Nordmanns up to about four feet. They will go back in the garden if kept indoors for no more than ten days or so.
