Half a mile up Pant Road.
Leave the A468 at the Bedwas turning and keep going uphill until you pass the chapel. If you can see the Rhymney valley behind you, you are nearly there.

Getting here, access and hours
By car
Pant Road leaves the A468 at the Bedwas turning. Follow it uphill for half a mile; we are on the left after the chapel, with free parking for sixty cars and two wide bays by the barn for loading.
By bus
The Caerphilly to Bedwas bus stops at the bottom of Pant Road, about ten minutes' walk uphill. Ring ahead and, if the van is free, Gethin may run you and your plants home.
By train
Caerphilly station is about two and a half miles away, then a short taxi or bus. Trains run from Cardiff Queen Street and up the Rhymney line.
Access
The car park, café, glasshouse and tills are level or ramped, with a disabled toilet by the café. The lower yard is gravel and slopes; two all-terrain wheelchairs and a good trolley are free to borrow.
Dogs
Dogs on a lead are welcome in the yard and on the café terrace. Inside the café, assistance dogs only, because of the food hygiene rules.
Hours
Monday to Saturday 9am to 5:30pm, Sunday 10am to 4:30pm, and the café 9:30am to 4pm every day. Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Lost, or bringing something big to collect? Ring 029 2018 0154 and ask for Gethin.
Open every day but three, on the hill above Bedwas.
Bring a photograph of the bed or a leaf in a sandwich bag. Free parking for sixty cars, soup in the lean-to and a van for anything that will not fit in yours.
