A straight line, using only cotton
Threading
Brows and upper lip shaped with a twist of cotton: precise and quick, with no chemicals or wax, and suitable for skin that hates both.

Priya learned to thread from her aunt in Leicester at fourteen, and she has done it most days since.
Threading takes hairs out from the root with a twist of cotton, one line at a time. It gets a much sharper line than wax, and it does not lift the skin. That makes it the safe choice if you use retinol or acid products, for which waxing is a bad idea.
You hold your own skin taut; we will show you where. It stings for a few seconds on each section, and your eyes may water, which is normal and goes away. A bit of redness goes down in half an hour.
Most people come back every three to five weeks. If you are growing your brows out, tell us. We will tidy only what is clearly stray, and leave the rest alone for as long as it takes.
What is included
- A new length of cotton for each client
- A brow map before anything comes off
- Soothing gel, and a mirror to check
- No patch test needed for threading alone
What it costs
Brows £12, upper lip £6, full face £28. All the prices are on one page, and the rebook tool gives you dates from your last visit.
Questions about threading
Does it hurt?
A little, and briefly. Less than waxing for most people, and it gets easier with time.
Do I need to book?
For Saturday, yes. Weekdays, ring first, and we can usually fit in a brow thread within the day.
