Classes on Heath Park
Heath Park, King George V Drive, Cardiff: puppy classes and dark-evening classes in the old bowls pavilion by the King George V Drive gate (the green door), park classes on the field by the pitch-and-putt and on the north field. The meeting point is always the pavilion veranda.
The office
9 King George V Drive, Heath, Cardiff CF14 4EH, opposite the park gate. Not a training venue: the office is where the phone is answered and the paperwork lives. Home visits are at your home.
Getting here
Heath High Level station is a seven-minute walk. Buses 21 and 23 stop on Heath Park Avenue. By car, King George V Drive runs along the park from the Heath hospital end.
Parking
Free parking in the park car park off King George V Drive, which fills on Saturday mornings: arrive ten minutes early. Please do not park on the grass verges or across the hospital staff entrances.
Access
The pavilion is step-free from the car park with an accessible toilet; the park paths are tarmac and level. Tell us if you or your dog has a mobility need and we will plan the class around it.
Dog safety
Every dog in class is on a lead or long line unless the exercise says otherwise, with space between dogs that need it. Vaccinations and flea and worm treatment must be up to date; a dog in season, unwell or with kennel cough misses the class and catches up later.
Running late? Ring or message 07700 900 730; the class starts on time and the trainer will fit you in when you arrive.
Tell us about your dog. We will say what fits, and what it costs.
Two minutes on the form: your dog, their age, what is going wrong. We reply the same working day with the course or visit that fits and the next date, or book a free ten-minute call if you would rather talk first. Or ring Ffion in the office.
