Your name at Glan Taf.

Grounds like this one survive on boards, programme ads and the firm that sponsors the kit. We will not pretend it is clever marketing. Your customers will see you backed the club.

Where it goes

Floodlight bills, mostly.

League fees, referees, the groundsman's diesel, insurance, and an electricity bill for four floodlights that would make you weep. No player is paid and no committee member is paid. The accounts go to the AGM every June, and sponsors are welcome to come and ask awkward questions.

Ring Menna. She will not sell you anything.

She will tell you what is free this season and how much it costs. That usually takes about four minutes.
