An old green turnstile gate beside a small brick tea hut with a warm bulb lit inside, at dusk

On the day

Gates at half past one.

One turnstile on the lane side, cash or card. Tea and bacon rolls from the hut. A programme is a pound. The clubhouse opens after the whistle, and away fans are as welcome as anybody.

Five pounds, a hot tea and a bit of shouting.

Saturday, Glan Taf Ground, a five-minute walk from Taffs Well station. Under-16s free with an adult. The clubhouse is open after the game, and you do not need to know anybody.
