Wholesale to cafés

Most of the cafés on Commercial Street and Talbot Street get their salad, their potatoes and their lemons from us, along with two pubs, a care home in Caerau and the kitchen at a primary school. The order comes in by 4pm, Carol buys it at the market at four the next morning with the shop's, and it is on the back step by eight.

Every Monday you get a price sheet by email: market price plus a fixed margin, so when tomatoes jump in March you see why. Order by phone, text or email by 4pm for the next morning; Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday orders come straight off the market, Monday, Wednesday and Friday orders from the cold room. A minimum of £40 for a drop; under that, collect from the shop from half seven.

Chef-prepped is not something we do: no peeled potatoes or bagged chopped onions. What we do do is pick for you. If a café wants small lemons for the drinks or big baking potatoes of a size, Carol picks the case. We invoice monthly on thirty days and send a credit the same day for anything you were not happy with.
