Skin fades
Skin fades blended from the razor up through every guard with a mirror behind you so you can see the back, finished with a sharp line-up and the top styled to suit.

A fade is judged on the blend and the line. The blend is patience and the right guards; the line is a steady hand and a mirror so you can see it before you leave.
We fade from the skin up: razor or foil shaver at the bottom, then every guard in order, blended with the clipper-over-comb so there are no steps. Low, mid, high, drop and burst fades, tapers for something softer, and the top cut and styled to match, whether that is a textured crop, a quiff or a slick back. The line-up is done with trimmers and a razor for a clean edge.
A mirror behind you is held up before the cape comes off. If the blend is not right from the back it gets fixed before you pay, not after you get home. Fades grow out in about three weeks; a clean-up at ten days keeps them sharp.
