Services

Six things, done right.

Whoever is free cuts the same way. Every price on the board includes the wash, the hot towel on the neck and the product to finish. Walk in for most of it; book for a shave or a group.

All six services

01

Haircuts

A proper men's haircut: a word about what you want, a wash, scissors or clippers or both, a razor neckline, a hot towel and the right product to finish. Eighteen pounds, twenty minutes.

Haircut £18.

02

Skin fades

Skin fades blended from the razor up through every guard with a mirror behind you so you can see the back, finished with a sharp line-up and the top styled to suit.

Skin fade £22 including the top and a line-up.

03

Beard trims and shaping

Beards trimmed with scissors and clippers, shaped to your jaw and cheekbones, lines cleaned with a razor, finished with a hot towel and beard oil. On its own or with a cut.

Beard trim and shape £12.

04

Hot towel shave

The traditional cut-throat razor shave: hot towels to open the skin, pre-shave oil, lather with a badger brush, two passes with the razor, a cold towel and a balm. Thirty minutes you will not want to end.

Hot towel shave £26.

05

Kids' cuts

Haircuts for boys from their first cut to their first fade, with a booster seat, a lolly drawer, a bit of patience and a barber who will not rush a nervous four-year-old.

Under-12s £13.

06

Grooming products

The clays, pomades, beard oils and shaving kit we use in the shop, sold at the counter without a sales pitch, plus safety razors, badger brushes and the one shampoo that does not strip your scalp.

Matte clay £14.

Wedding and group mornings

The shop to yourselves, Saturday at 8.

Groom and ushers, a stag the morning after, a birthday, a team before a final: three chairs, three barbers, hot towel shaves and cuts, the door locked and the coffee on, an hour before we open to the public. From £120 for the groom and up to four. Bacon rolls from next door can be arranged.

Walk in, or book a chair.

Two chairs take walk-ins in the order you arrive; the board shows the wait. The third chair is booked online for a set time, a shave or a wedding morning.
