Trims, line-ups, shaping, hot towel finish

Beard trims and shaping

Beards trimmed with scissors and clippers, shaped to your jaw and cheekbones, lines cleaned with a razor, finished with a hot towel and beard oil. On its own or with a cut.

A barber trimming a bearded man's beard with scissors and a comb, shaping the line

A beard is a haircut on your face. The lines matter more than the length, and most men's lines are in the wrong place.

We look at the shape of your face and jaw before touching it, then trim the length with scissors over a comb or clippers to a guard, shape the cheek line and the neckline where they should be (higher than most men put them), and clean the edges with a razor. A hot towel softens everything and a beard oil finishes it. Full beards, stubble, goatees and moustaches all get the same attention.

With a cut it is £30 together, which is the most popular thing on the board. On its own it is £12 and ten minutes, no appointment.

Questions about beards

Where should my beard neckline be?

About a finger above the Adam's apple, curving up to behind the jaw. Most men shave it too high, which makes the jaw look smaller. We will show you in the mirror.

Walk in, or book a chair.

Two chairs take walk-ins in the order you arrive; the board shows the wait. The third chair is booked online for a set time, a shave or a wedding morning.
