Wraps and pittas
Pick the bread (pitta, a soft wrap, a lahmacun or a box with rice and salad), the meat (doner, chicken or lamb shish, kofte, mixed or falafel), up to two sauces and chips. The meal builder on this website gives the price before you ring.
The wrap is the way most people meet the grill. The breads are baked in the stone oven at the back: pitta and flatbread through the evening, lahmacun (a thin base with spiced lamb mince) to order. The salad is cut fresh at five and again at ten: lettuce, tomato, red onion with sumac and parsley, red cabbage, and pickled chillies on request.
Sauces are free, two of them: garlic mayonnaise, chilli, garlic yoghurt with mint, or barbecue. The chilli sauce is made here with fresh red chillies and is properly hot; ask for half and half. Falafel is made from soaked chickpeas, not a mix, and fried to order for vegetarians and vegans (the wrap and the garlic mayonnaise are not vegan; the pitta and the chilli sauce are).

Is the falafel vegan?
The falafel is; have it in a pitta with salad and chilli sauce for a vegan wrap. The soft wrap and the garlic mayonnaise contain milk and egg.
Can I have no salad?
Of course; say so and we fill it with meat instead, at the same price.
