Lamb shish wrap off actual charcoal at one in the morning, and the same price as at teatime. The site said fifty minutes on a Saturday after eleven and it was forty-five. Water in the bag, too.

You can tell the doner is made there: it is not that rubbery stuff. Doner on chips with garlic sauce is my Friday and I am not sorry.
The mixed grill fed both of us with some left over. Kofte with real heat, chicken that was not dry, bread from their own oven. Best kebab shop in the valley by a distance.
Vegan and usually stuck with chips. Their falafel is made from soaked chickpeas and they told me which wrap and sauce to avoid without me asking. Proper allergen codes on the menu.
Good food, hot when it came. Four stars because Hirwaun is £3.50 and it took an hour on a Friday at midnight, though the website had said fifty minutes so I knew what I was getting.
The doner pizza is a thing of beauty. Thin, crisp, the doner off the spit and chillies. Twelve inch did three of us.
About the four stars
Hirwaun at midnight on a Friday is a long way.
Hirwaun is four miles up the valley and on a Friday after eleven the drivers have the town to do first. An hour is the honest answer at that time, and the delivery page says fifty minutes plus the trip before you order, which Rob says it did. We would rather tell you the real time than promise thirty and arrive at sixty.
