Fees and insurance

The fees, all of them.

There is no VAT on physiotherapy, and acupuncture, taping and your exercise programme are part of the session, never charged on top. The initial assessment is £68 for forty-five minutes; follow-ups are £52, or six together for £288.

Health insurance

Recognised by the main insurers.

All three physiotherapists are registered providers with the insurers below. Most policies cover a set number of physiotherapy sessions a year; some want a GP referral first and some do not, so check your policy or ring the number on your card before the first visit. Bring your policy number and any authorisation code.

With Bupa, AXA Health and Vitality we can usually invoice the insurer directly. With the others you pay us and claim back with the receipt we give you, which has everything the insurer asks for on it.

Why there is no package

You pay for the sessions you need, and we tell you how many that is.

A number at session one

Most people need four to eight sessions. We write the estimate down with a goal and a review date, and we stop when the goal is reached, not when a package runs out.

Six together, if you want

£288 for six follow-ups is £48 each. It is a discount, not a commitment: unused sessions are refunded if the plan ends early.

Classes to carry on with

Clinical Pilates and the Steady group are where most people carry on once their one-to-one sessions are done: £16 a class, six for £84, no obligation.

Concessions without asking

Over 65s, students and NHS staff pay £46 for follow-ups, with ID on the first visit. We apply it automatically; nobody has to ask.

Book an assessment.

Forty-five minutes with a physiotherapist: history, assessment, a diagnosis in plain words and treatment on the day. £68, no GP referral needed, most insurers recognised. Acute injuries seen within 48 hours.
