Colour

Good colour is nine parts formulation and one part application. The formulation is why the same box number looks different on everyone.

A colour appointment starts with the consultation (free, fifteen minutes, ideally a few days before so we can do the skin test at the same time). We look at your natural base, your history, your grey percentage and your skin tone, and mix for the result rather than reaching for a shade number. Roots are retouched to the line, not past it; full colour is applied in sections so it is even from root to end; every colour is finished with a toner where it needs one and a bond-building treatment.

Grey blending is a speciality: softening rather than covering, so the regrowth is gentle and the appointments are further apart. Glosses add shine and a tone shift with no commitment and are the best thirty-four pounds in the salon.

Root retouch from £52, full-head colour from £68, gloss or toner from £34, all including a treatment. Add a cut from £30 when booked together. A skin test 48 hours before any new colour. Every price is by stylist level and includes VAT. See the full price list.
