The everyday rail
Womenswear
Knitwear, shirts, trousers and coats from eleven small labels, sizes 6 to 22, bought to last more than a season.

Most of the shop is the clothes you wear on an ordinary Wednesday: a good jumper, trousers with proper pockets and a coat that copes with the Usk valley in February.
Rhian buys from eleven small labels, most of them British and two of them Welsh, and orders no more than four of any size in any style. That means you are unlikely to meet your own jumper in the queue at the deli, and it means we sell out and do not reorder, so if you like it, buy it or ask us to put it by until Saturday.
Every label cuts differently, which is why the size tool exists and why the fitting room curtain is never far from your elbow. Sizes run from 6 to 22 in everything we stock, not only the smocks. If a label stops at 18 we stop buying it, and we have done that twice.

Questions about womenswear
Do you sell online?
No, and we are not likely to. We would rather see how a coat sits on your shoulders. If you have seen something on the new-in list, ring and we will tell you what sizes are left and hold one for two days.
What if it does not fit once I get it home?
Bring it back within 28 days with the receipt and the tags on, for an exchange or your money back. Altered clothes and pierced earrings are the two things we cannot take back.
Do you stock petite or tall?
Two of our labels cut a shorter leg and one a longer sleeve. Otherwise Cerys upstairs alters length for a set price, and that is often the better answer anyway.
Come and try something on.
The kettle is on and the fitting room is free more often than you would think. Thursday evenings are by appointment, for anyone who works.
