A sitter sleeps at your house, 7pm to 8am
Overnight stays
For the dog that cannot be alone at night, the cat that needs tablets at bedtime, or the house you would rather was not empty: one of us arrives at seven, does the evening routine, sleeps in the spare room and leaves at eight after the morning one. £55 a night, a daytime visit on top if the dog needs it.

Some animals do not do nights alone: a dog that howls, a puppy, a cat on bedtime insulin, a very old dog who needs letting out at two. And some owners would rather the house had a light on, a car on the drive and a person in it. An overnight covers both.
The sitter arrives at seven, feeds, walks or lets out, settles the animals as you do and sleeps in the room you say; we bring our own bedding if you prefer. In the morning the routine runs again and the sitter leaves at eight, or later by arrangement, leaving the house as found and the note on the kitchen table. A dog that cannot manage nine to seven on its own has a daytime visit added, or two.
Overnights are done by Carys and Mark, and the same sitter stays for the whole booking. We eat our own food, do not have visitors, and do not use your house for anything but looking after it. Christmas and New Year overnights book by November and carry the bank-holiday supplement on the nights that fall on them.

Questions about overnights
Who stays in my house?
Carys or Mark, and you meet them before the booking. The same person stays every night of it. Elin does not do overnights.
Can the sitter stay during the day too?
Not as a rule; the sitter has a day round. For a dog that cannot be alone at all we do an overnight plus two daytime visits, or we will point you to a home boarder we trust.
Book a free first visit.
Up to forty-five minutes at your house: we meet the animals, go through the feeding, the medication and the house, photograph the charts and take a key. Message or ring, or use the form, and Carys replies within the day.
