Kit and subs

Twelve pounds a month after the three free sessions, half for a sister, and a kit swap twice a year so nobody buys new unless they want to.

We keep the cost low enough that it should not be the reason a girl stops. Subs are £12 a month paid by standing order, with no charge for August. A sister pays half, and a third sister pays nothing.

Wildcats need a top and socks (£15). Under 12s and above need the full kit of shirt, shorts and socks (£28). Boots can come from the swap rail at the pavilion on the first Saturday of September and February; outgrown boots are cleaned and put out for anybody to take. Trainers are fine until she has decided she is staying.

If subs or kit are a problem this month, tell Marian or her coach. Nothing goes in writing, nobody else hears about it, and she keeps playing. The club fund is there for that and it comes from the summer fair, so please do not feel you are taking anything from anybody.

What she gets

  • Standing order monthly, September to July
  • Half price for a sister, free for a third
  • A kit and boots swap twice a year
  • Quiet help from the club fund, no form to fill in
  • Insurance through the league for every registered player

What it costs

£12 a month, £6 for a sister. Kit from £15, or free from the swap rail. Everything is on the prices table, and the team finder tells you which group she belongs in this season.

Questions about kit and subs

Is there a joining fee?

No, only the subs and the kit.

What if she stops coming?

Cancel the standing order, or tell us and we will remind you. There is no notice period.

Never played? Good. Bring her on Thursday.

Trainers and a coat are fine for the first session. A coach meets you at the pavilion gate, and you can stay and watch for as long as you like. The first three sessions are free.
