Half terms and summer

Holiday camps

Girls-only days at Caerau Park in half term and summer, nine till three, open to any girl aged 5 to 14, whether she plays with us or not.

A line of orange cones and a heap of yellow bibs on sunny grass, with a group of children at play far behind

Camp runs nine to three in the February, May and October half terms and for three weeks of the summer. Football in the morning, a mix of rounders, dodgeball and big silly games after lunch, and a tournament on the Friday.

You drop off at the pavilion at nine, or from half past eight if work needs it, at no extra cost. She brings a packed lunch and a water bottle, we provide the fruit. If it rains hard we move into the community hall on Grand Avenue; nobody has been sent home yet.

Every family on free school meals or who tells us money is tight gets a free place, no form, no conversation in front of anybody. Email Marian, or tick the box when you book. We keep ten places a week aside for this.
