Half a mile south of the town on the Llantwit Major Road, the stone barn behind the hedge with twenty lit spaces on the gravel and a dog-walking field behind. Out of hours, ring first and the car park lights come on when you arrive.

Where
The Old Barn on the Llantwit Major Road, half a mile south of Cowbridge town centre, the stone barn with the sage-green door and the hedge. Look for the sign at the gate; the drive is a hundred yards.
Parking
Twenty spaces on the gravel in front, lit at night, with two wide bays by the door for carrying a large dog in. A small dog-walking field behind the car park for the nervous wee before you come in.
Bus
The X2 and 321 stop at the end of the drive on the Llantwit Major Road, ten minutes from Cowbridge or thirty from Cardiff. Taxis from Cowbridge know us.
Waiting room
Separate dog and cat sides, a raised shelf for cat carriers so they are not nose to nose with a spaniel, and a quiet room with a garden door for the hard appointments. If your dog is anxious, wait in the car and we will fetch you.
Out of hours
Ring 01632 960 813, any hour. One of our own vets answers and meets you at the barn. The car park lights come on and the door is unlocked when you arrive. Do not drive to the day number's answerphone.
Home visits
Within eight miles: Cowbridge, Llanblethian, Llantwit Major, Pendoylan, Bonvilston, Peterston and the villages between. £90 on top of the consultation, free for euthanasia. Booked for the middle of the day.
