Most Thursdays at seven: six cheeses, three wines, a maker sometimes, twenty seats, £28, the seats left on the order page
Tasting evenings
Most Thursdays at seven the shop closes, the tables come together and twenty people taste six cheeses and three wines with Ffion and Rhys, sometimes with the maker who made them. Themed: Welsh cheese, the blues, goat's and sheep's, the Christmas board. £28 a seat, the seats left listed, booked on the order page.

The evenings started as a way of getting people to try the cheeses they walk past, and they became the thing people book their friends onto. Twenty seats around the pushed-together tables, six cheeses in order of strength, three wines, a lot of talk, and on the best nights the person who made the cheese.
Each evening has a theme: Welsh cheese, from the Caerphilly to the Pembrokeshire blue; the goat's and sheep's cheeses; the blues and the washed rinds, for the brave; cheese and cider; the Christmas board in December. Six cheeses tasted in order of strength, three wines or ciders chosen with them, bread and oatcakes, and the notes to take home. Ten per cent off anything from the evening bought on the night.
Twenty seats, £28, booked on the order page with the evening chosen; the maker evenings are £35 because the maker is paid to come. The seats left are listed and an evening with no seats left takes a waiting list. A private evening for a birthday, a team or a club, up to twenty, any night but Thursday, from £480.

Not at all. Half the room is there to find out what they like; the other half argue with Ffion. Both are welcome.
Is there food apart from the cheese?
Bread, oatcakes, chutney and some charcuterie. Eat something light first; most people leave full.
A hamper built by you, packed on the day.
