Built on this website from the shelves, with the total running as you go and free delivery in the Vale over £75
Hampers
Pick a basket (a box, a wicker basket or the big hamper) and what goes in it from about twenty things off the shelves: cheeses, charcuterie, chutneys, crackers, wine, chocolate, honey. The hampers page keeps a running total and says how far you are from free delivery in the Vale over £75. Packed on the day with wood wool and a handwritten card; posted anywhere in Britain for £9.95.

A hamper is the shop in a basket, and the best ones are built for a person rather than from a list. So we built the list as a page: choose the basket, tick what goes in it, see the total and how close you are to free delivery, and press order. We pack it on the day with wood wool, a handwritten card and the cheeses cut that morning.
Three baskets: a gift box for four or five things (£6), the wicker basket that most people choose (£12), and the big lidded hamper for a family Christmas (£18). Then about twenty things from the shelves, in four groups: cheese (a wedge of Caerphilly, the Gower goat's cheese, a Welsh blue, a Comté), from the deli counter (the Carmarthen ham, the lamb salami, the quince, the oatcakes, the chutney), from the cupboard (honey, chocolate, the olive oil, the shortbread) and from the wine shelf (a red, a white, a bottle of the Welsh sparkling, a Welsh cider). Each has its price and the page adds them up.
Delivery in the Vale is free over £75 and £6.50 under, Tuesday to Friday; posting anywhere in Britain is £9.95 by next-day courier, Monday to Wednesday so the cheese is not in a depot over the weekend. Corporate hampers by the dozen with a week's notice. In December, order by the 15th for posting and the 21st for local delivery.

Questions about hampers
Can I change what is in a hamper after ordering?
Yes, until we pack it on the morning of delivery. Ring or reply to the confirmation.
Will the cheese be all right in the post?
Yes: hard and blue cheeses travel well, wrapped in waxed paper with an ice pack, next-day, posted Monday to Wednesday only so nothing sits in a depot.
