Workshops
Sunday afternoons, two and a half hours.
Once a week the schedule stops and the room is given to one thing for an afternoon: a sound bath, a workshop on hips or shoulders, breathwork, a winter restorative with candles. Dates go up two months ahead, with the teacher, the price and the spaces left; the sound bath sells out within a day, so look early.

Coming up
The next eight Sundays with a workshop.
2pm to 4:30pm unless the description says otherwise. Book in the app or with the booking form; a place is held when it is paid for, and refunded up to 48 hours before.

The sound bath
Seventy-five minutes of lying still while Ruth plays the bowls.
The monthly sound bath is the most popular thing the studio does and the one that needs least explaining: you lie on a mat under a blanket with your eyes closed, and Ruth plays crystal bowls, gongs and chimes around the room for an hour and a quarter. There is nothing to do and nowhere to be. People sleep, some cry, most leave quieter than they came. It sells out within a day of the date going up, which is why the dates are published two months ahead and some months it runs twice.
- £22, fourteen places, bring a pillow if you like
- No experience of anything needed
- Not suitable in the first twelve weeks of pregnancy or with a pacemaker; ask

Your first class is £8. Read the first-visit page, then come.
Any gentle or open mat class, mats and props provided, the teacher told you are new, and the kinder version of every pose offered without being asked. Book in the app, send the form, or walk in ten minutes early; the desk is open half an hour before each class.
