The shop floor is half teamwear and half running and gym, because Caerphilly runs: two clubs, a parkrun round the castle on Saturdays, and the mountain on the doorstep. We fit running shoes the way they should be fitted, on a treadmill with a camera.
A shoe fitting starts with what you run, how far and on what, then a couple of minutes on the treadmill while a camera watches your feet from behind. It is not a medical assessment; it shows whether your feet roll in a lot, a little or not at all, and which shoes suit that. We stock five makes in neutral and support, and trail shoes for the ridge.
Gym and running clothing, sports bras (fitted properly, with a tape measure, in a private room), socks, belts and headtorches for winter. Members of the two Caerphilly running clubs, and anyone who shows a parkrun barcode, get ten per cent off. We print and supply both clubs' vests.

Questions about running and gym
Do I need to book a shoe fitting?
No, but Saturday mornings after parkrun are busy. A weekday or a Thursday evening means no wait.
Can I bring my old shoes?
Please do. The wear on the sole tells us as much as the treadmill.
