Wine for a wedding or party, on sale or return, with a tasting to choose it and glasses on free loan. We work out how much you need, and take back what you do not.
The usual rule is half a bottle a person, plus a glass of fizz, and a bit more if it is a long day. It is cheaper than a hotel, even with corkage.
Come and taste a few at our table. Most weddings choose one white, one red and one fizz. Hywel will ask how many are drinking, how long the day is and whether it is an August lawn or a November barn. That changes the answer.
Everything we supply is on sale or return: whole unopened bottles come back, and you pay for what you drank. Glasses are free on loan with the order, and you only pay for breakages. We deliver and collect within twenty miles of Monmouth.
Check your venue's rules about corkage and whether they need a Temporary Event Notice if you are selling drinks or running a bar. It is your venue's or organiser's licence rather than ours. We can talk you through the questions to ask.

Questions about weddings and events
How much wine do we need?
Half a bottle each with the meal and a glass of fizz, for adults who are drinking. For a hundred guests that is about seven cases of still and two of fizz. We will work it out with you, and take back what you do not use.
Do you run the bar?
No, but we know people who do.
