The roomThe dining room, half past six
The room
Forty covers in a Georgian townhouse. The tablecloths are a decision; so are the candles, and the music low enough to hear the next table laugh.
Gallery
Six photographs of the room, the plates and the people, taken on quiet evenings because Saturday nights are too dark and too busy. The rest is on Instagram, where the Wednesday menu goes up at noon.

DinnerSioned
From a farm a mile away, used whole across the week. The rump at dinner, the shoulder on Sunday, the rest in the lunch shepherd's pie.
The kitchenSioned
Four cooks, eight of everything, forty covers twice. The tweezers are for the herbs; the rest is done with a spoon.
Sunday roastThe kitchen
Rib of Vale beef rested for an hour, potatoes in dripping, the Yorkshire from Lowri's grandmother. More gravy when you ask.
PuddingsLowri
Taken off the menu once, in 2019, for a fortnight. The letters were not polite. It has been on every menu since.
Private diningTom
The townhouse's old dining room: panelling, a fireplace, its own door off the courtyard and its own waiter. No hire fee against a minimum spend.
The new menu goes up at noon on Wednesday, the producer suppers are announced in January for the year, and Sioned posts a plate when it is worth one. No reels of the dining room on a Saturday; you were in it.

Forty covers, so Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays need a booking. Lunch is two courses for £24, Wednesday to Saturday. The back room seats twelve with no hire fee. The menu changes every Wednesday and is online by noon.
