Paneer and vegetable curries to any heat, chana masala, tarka dal, saag aloo, Bombay potatoes, mushroom bhaji, samosas and bhajis, cooked in their own pans. Nine of the twelve can be made vegan with oil instead of ghee.
Half of Bargoed's Saturday orders have a vegetarian dish in them, and the vegetarian part of the menu is not an afterthought. Paneer and vegetable versions of every curry, cooked to any heat; the dals and the chickpeas cooked from dry in the afternoon; the sag with fresh spinach.
The vegetable curry uses what is good that week from the greengrocer, with potato and peas; paneer comes from a dairy in Cardiff and is fried before it goes in so it holds together. Side dishes are a full portion, not a spoonful: tarka dal with fried garlic, chana masala, saag aloo, Bombay potatoes, mushroom bhaji, saag paneer.
Vegan: nine dishes can be cooked in oil instead of ghee and without cream; say so when you order. Vegetarian dishes are cooked in their own pans with their own spoons, but in the same kitchen as meat and fish, so we cannot promise there are no traces.

Are the naans vegetarian?
Yes; the plain and garlic naan contain milk and egg. For vegan, have a chapati or plain rice.

It comes from a small dairy in Cardiff that makes it for several restaurants. We fry it here.
