Full sets, infills, gel-X, sculpted shapes

Acrylics and extensions

Acrylic and gel-X extensions for length and shape, from a short square to a long coffin, sculpted on forms rather than glued tips where the nail allows, infilled every three weeks and removed without damage.

Two hands with long coffin-shaped nails in a lavender and white marble nail art with gold foil flecks

Extensions get a bad name from salons that drill the nail plate and rip the set off at the end. Done properly, your natural nail is the same when the set comes off as when it went on.

Acrylics are sculpted on a form under the free edge, which gives a stronger, thinner nail than a glued tip, in whatever length and shape you want: square, squoval, almond, coffin, stiletto. Gel-X uses a soft gel full-cover tip cured onto a prepared nail and is lighter and quicker, better for people who find acrylic too heavy or want a short set for an event.

Both are infilled every three weeks and removed by soaking, with an e-file used only on the product and never on your nail. If your nails are thin or damaged from previous sets we will say so and suggest BIAB for a few months first.

Questions about acrylics

Do acrylics damage your nails?

Not if the nail plate is not drilled and the set is soaked off rather than pulled. That is how we do it. Damage comes from bad technique, not from acrylic.
