BIAB every four weeks for a year and my nails are the longest they have ever been without a single break. Siân never rushes and never drills. Seventy-five minutes means seventy-five minutes.

Megan mapped my lashes for my hooded eyes instead of just doing what I asked for, and she was right. Hybrid set, three weeks between infills, nobody can tell they are extensions, which is the point.
Wedding nails for the bride and six bridesmaids, done over two days the week before. Lavender marble for the bride, matching sheer sets for the rest. Everyone's lasted past the honeymoon.
I came in with gel that had been ripped off by another salon and nails like paper. Lily said no to a new set, did a BIAB short set and a strengthening plan, and three months later they are fine. Honest.
Lovely laminated brows and a calm, clean salon. Four stars because the patch test meant two trips, which they did warn me about and is the law, but still two trips.
Hot wax Hollywood, in and out in half an hour, new wax, private room, no awkwardness. Fifty-minute pedicure afterwards in the mint chair with a cuppa. Best Saturday morning in Caerphilly.
About the four stars
Two trips for a patch test. It is the law, and it still costs a star.
Ffion is right that a patch test means two visits the first time. The alternative is a reaction around the eyes, which we have seen once in seven years, on a client who had been tested elsewhere and reacted to a different glue. So we test, every first time, every product. We now post kits so the first trip can be your own bathroom. The review stays because it is true.
